Video professionally taken by Ariel Agility - watch Lexi go!!

Open Standard Run - 12-08-07
NQ. Lexi's first event in a while.  Lexi lost focus (when I lost my way for a second headed to the tire).  She then created her own course, including saying hello to the judge on the way.  Then she heads over the gate into the crowed (not on video) coming off the dog walk.  The judge said that she "interacted with the crowd" and couldn't come back in to finish her run.  Imagine that - Lexi wanting to "interact" with the crowd!

Open Jumpers Run - 12-08-07
NQ.  Lexi could not comprehend WHY the weavepoles were buried (AND mom pulled up and STOPPED clapping)!  Where is the base to follow???  I don't get it!  It was a complex course and Lexi did FANTASTIC otherwise!!!

Open Standard Run - 12-09-07
NQ.  Lexi hesitated (refused) too many obstacles for a Q this time!  Mom forgot to "encourage" Lexi into the chute and onto the table.  The weavepoles were yet another fumble with the buried feet!  But MUCH better than Saturday!!

Open Jumpers Run - 12-09-07
NQ.  OH, so close!  Another missed entry to the weavepoles, but an unexpected refusal into the tunnel!  Oh well, another very complex course and Lexi was fast!!  We will try again!

October 16, 2006 - York, PA

Lexi collects another "Q" on the Standard side and a 2nd place!  So now she has 2 legs in each - Standard and Jumpers.
Only one more to go for each and she will earn her NA and NAJ!

Sept 30 - Oct 1, 2006 - Fredericksburg, VA

Lexi not only qualifies her very FIRST time in Standard and Jumpers, but also BLUE DOUBLE Q's!!!

We head to Fredericksburg VA with low expectations since this is Lexi 's very first agility trial.  It is outdoors - which can be VERY difficult for hunting dogs!!  So off we go to "practice" and get ring experience.

WELL, doesn't Lexi just go and PERFORM!!  It was as if she had done it a thousand times!

Her first run was on the Standard side.  She went through the course with ease.  Her only reluctance was through the chute - but in she went!  She manages to qualify AND take first place in her class!

Her second run was on the Jumper's side.  She takes off like a rocket and doesn't turn back!  She flies through the course without a single mistake, including flying through the weavepoles on the first attempt!  She finishes ELEVEN SECONDS under time and earns a very well deserved 1st place.  She was the only dog to qualify in her class.  And she had a CLEAN RUN!!!

The 2 blue ribbons were QUITE the accomplishment for Lexi; however, she wasn't done yet!  The following day (Sunday), Lexi does it again on the Jumper's side.  She was slightly more distracted which wasted a little bit of time, but she qualifies AGAIN and earns another "Q" and a 2nd placement.  WAY TO GO LEXI!!!

OH judge, WHY do you make me sit on a stupid table???
