Longview, TX - August 1 BEST OF BREED #15!!!!! Another Dynata Vizsla FIRST!!!  Introducing: GCH CH Dynata's Bound to Huntmore JH - Gunnar!!! Gunnar is the FIRST Dynata puppy to receive the title of GRAND CHAMPION (all majors - 6 BOB's, 1 BOS)!!!  CONGRATULATIONS to Amy and Gunnar (Maddy-Ruger), you guys are the epitome of the "PERFECT" team!!!  We are all so proud of your accomplishments!!! Gunnar took BOB again today, and made the final cut in the Group (the hairy dogs won out)!  Longview, TX - July 31 BEST OF BREED #14!!!!! Amy and Gunnar (Maddy/Ruger) took Best of Breed #14 and continue on their roll!!!  They made the final cut in Group, but lost out to the hairy dogs for the top 4 spots.  Knocking on the door!!! Houston, TX - July 23 and 24 BEST OF BREED #13!!!!! And it is a BIG'GUN'!!! - Amy and Gunnar (Maddy/Ruger) took Best of Breed on Friday at the Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Club's Supported Entry beating the #1 RANKED Vizsla in the country, as well as two other Top 10 dogs, as well as other very nice Specials.   Number 13 was a lucky number today!!! Amy and Gunnar continued their "roll" by going Best of Opposite Sex to the #1 RANKED Vizsla on Saturday, beating the same ranked and nice Specials boys on Friday.  A very special owner/handler and a pretty dog can sure go a long way!!  CONGRATULATIONS Amy - you guys are truly a very special team!!! Closing in quickly now on your Grand Champion Title, Gun-Gun!!!

July 4th Weekend fireworks!!! Peterborough, Ontario CONGRATULATIONS to Rachel and Dash (Maddy-Erik) for going two for two at the Kawartha Kennel Club dog shows!!!  Dash took Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex both days, earning 5 more points towards her Championship!  You guys are more than half way there now!  Show photo coming soon.  (In their spare time after the show, they took to the field to continue training for their NAVHDA NA test coming up in August.  Dash had a perfect pheasant track and took to the water like a fish - she has always loved to swim.  Nice reward for being such a good show dog)!! CONGRATULATIONS to Leslie and Sammy (Maddy-Erik) for picking up another two points going Winners Dog on Monday!!!  Two weekends in a row - way to go you guys!!!! Honorable mention:  Congratulations to Shella and Max (Maddy-Erik) and Sadie's family (Maddy-Erik) for their accomplishments all weekend.  Max placed first in his class two of the three days looking very handsome, and Sadie did very well at her very first dog shows by winning her class on Sunday - she really held it together for being such a newbie!  Max is very new to the show ring as well.  THANK YOU Amy for flying up from Texas to play dog show with us all weekend.  Honorable mention also goes out to Jack (Lexi-Endre) for going Reserve on Monday, Luna (Maddy-Ruger) for winning her class on Friday, and to my Jackie (Maddy-Erik) for going Reserve on Friday (AGAIN!) Sadie had a wonderful welcome home from her family (as well as the rest of the Dynata family that showed this weekend.  What a wonderful welcome home!

My Jackie (Maddy-Erik) earns her first leg of her Junior Hunter Title!

	Jackie went to her very first Hunt Test not knowing what to make of it, and passed with very nice scores!!  She had a very strong search, beautiful point, and 3 very nice finds. Nice job Jackie-O!!

Jack (Lexi-Endre) and Andrew earn a near perfect score at the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test!!!!

Jack and Andrew earned 108 points (out of a perfect 112) for their Prize II award!!!!  Jack was perfect in the field, and perfect in the water.  It was the darn track that foiled their near perfect score!!!  What an AMAZING accomplishment you guys!!!  WAY TO GO!!!! WOOOO HOOOOOO!!!  (picture coming soon)

Shella and Max (Maddy-Erik) earned their first TWO legs of their JH Title this weekend!  Half way there!!!  CONGRATULATIONS - mama Maddy and I are SO proud of you!!!

Susan and Sarika (Lexi-Bud) were at it again!  This time it was Rally!!!  Their first time in the ring - they score a 95 and take FIRST PLACE out of 8 qualifying dogs for their first Rally Novice leg.  Susan also qualified with her other vizsla and took SECOND PLACE too!!!   Awesome job, Susan and crew!!!!

This weekend was "hunting weekend" for two of Lexi's kids:

York, PA/South Hill, VA

My Maddy (Lexi-Danny) goes 2 for 2 and earns her first TWO legs of her Master Hunter Title!!!!

Maddy and I had a phenomenal weekend in the field.  She had 5 finds on Saturday (one of which was stolen by her bracemate, and Maddy still held steady!) - 2 of which were in the bird field with retrieves!  Sunday was much the same - 4 finds.  Once again, one find was stolen by her bracemate, who then decided to leave the bird alone and sniff and lick Maddys rear-end while she was on point.  What a good girl Mads - steady as a ROCK!  She turned in strong performances and qualified both days.  The judges were very complimentary and her scores were extraordinary.  Very PROUD of my Maddy-Mae!!!

Brother Viktor (Lexi-Danny) would not be outdone in the field this weekend!
Viktor and trainer/owner/handler/daddy Pat, qualify for their FIRST leg of Master!!!! 

	Pat and Viktor have been performing in the field for a while.  They have become such a strong team.  Daddy Pat is an avid hunter, and goes out with Viktor often as a hunting companion.  They have also been involved with NSTRA (National Shoot to Retrieve Association), as well as AKC Hunt Tests. WAY TO GO!!!!!!  A tremendous accomplishment - keep up the good hunting, you guys!!!

While Maddy was busy in the field this weekend, her son was busy in the show ring!!

Gunnar(Maddy-Ruger) and her owner/handler Amy took Best of Breed both days this weekend - AND - also took Best of Breed last Saturday at the Houston Kennel Club show!!!!  Gunnar picked up over 50 vizslas defeated in these two weekends!!!!  GREAT JOB AMY AND GUN-GUN!!!

Wellsville, PA - Very honorable mention to Andrew, Callie and Jack (Lexi-Endre) for their attempt to run Jack in the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test!!!  At 9 months old, Jack was ready to go!  If only it hadn't been raining solid for two days and Jack continually feeling wet and cold - the water felt SO cold!  Jack had wonderful scores in all areas.  He just wouldn't go into the water the second time!  Good practice for the Spring, when Jack will try it again.  I am so proud of you guys!  Andrew is a newbie to dog field training.  Your commitment paid off Andrew, with a wonderful performance!

We were mainly going to the Specialty to support the club and enjoy friends, food, and the wonderful raffle. Of course we were hoping for a ribbon, but at 20 months old, I know Gunnar isn’t as filled out as some of the older dogs and there were some good looking dogs in the ring with us!! Thankfully, the judge didn’t hold anything against us and pointed at Gunnar to receive the first Award of Merit! We had a great weekend seeing old and new friends, and coming home with a big green ribbon didn’t hurt either!!

3/21/09 - The same day, Mike and Remy (Lexi-Bud) team up to qualify for their SECOND leg of Master!!!  Wooo hooo!!!  CONGRATULATIONS to Mike, Elaine and Remy!!  Their first hunt test of the season!  Continued good fortune the rest of the season!!!

3/14/09 - 3/15/09 - All three Maddy babies that are currently being shown go Reserve to Majors.  Gunnar twice, Nick once in Kentucky, and Katie once in PA.  So close you guys!  Way to go!!

3/13/09 - Friday the 13th - not bad luck for Amy and Gunnar!!!  Gunnar (Maddy-Ruger) goes Best in Sweepstakes at the Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Club Specialty!!!  Gunnar is the 3rd Maddy-Gunnar baby to go Best in Sweepstakes!!!  Amy and Gunnar then went on to go Reserve Winners Dog in the regular classes.  Nice going Amy and Gunnar!!!

Sunday, Bel Alton, MD - Maryland Sporting Dog Show

     

My Katie (Maddy-Ruger) took Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best Bred-By Exhibitor for 2 points!  She then went on to represent Vizslas in the Best Bred-By Exhibitor Sporting Group competition and placed with a GROUP 3!!  What an honor at a Limited Breed Sporting Dog show!!!  She was the only short haired dog in the placements!  Way to go Katie Kate!!!

Susan and Sarika (Lexi-Bud) QUALIFY for the FIRST leg of their Novice Standard agility title.  What makes this "Q" even more special is that this was Susan and Sarika's first trial!!!!  CONGRATULATIONS team!!!  What an AWESOME accomplishment!!!!  Good luck at the next trial!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Shawn, Amy and Gunnar (Maddy-Ruger) for picking up their third and fourth final leg of their Junior Hunter title!!!  Gun-Gun has really figured out the hunting game now, getting scores of all 9's!!  WAY TO GO!!!
 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEXI-ENDRE BABIES!!! 

Lexi went into labor around 4pm on December 30.  She had her first puppy at 6:25pm.  She spent over two hours pushing big boy #1 out!  Once he paved the way, the other puppies followed much easier!  The last boy took his time and came out two hours after his brothers and sister!

The puppies are big and robust!  Very active and gaining weight quickly!  Lexi is being a GREAT mom.  A wonderful New Year for us!!!

Leesburg, VA

Lucy (Maddy-Ruger) qualified for the AKC S.T.A.R. puppy program (Socialization,Training, Activity, Responsibility)!  She also passed her first formal obedience class!  To graduate from the class, Lucy had to complete 7 stations with verbal and/or hand signals only.  The stations were classified as:  Recall, Stay, Greeting Behavior, Down, Leave it, Leash Walk with stops, and a focus trick.  No physical manipulation of the dog, or food in the handlers hand, were allowed.  Lucy passed with flying colors and received a blue ribbon!!!

I am so proud of owner/handler Laura and Lucy!!!  CONGRATULATIONS to her whole family!!!  WOW guys - great job!!

The dynamic duo will train on with more obedience and a basic agility class!

CONGRATULATIONS to Anna and Luna (Maddy-Ruger) for picking up their fourth and final leg of their Junior Hunter title!!!!  With VERY nice scores again, I might add - 10-9-9-9!!!!

I am so very proud of them!!  Anna did not know a thing about Hunt Tests.  She has been an awesome student and a natural!!  They will be continuing on with training in the future!  Way to go!

Upper Marlboro, MD - a FANTASTIC weekend of Hunt Tests, despite the very cold temperatures and wind!

MADDY IS AMAZING!!! 

Maddy earned her SENIOR HUNTER title this weekend by qualifying both days with the highest scores each day (all nines - the judges did not award any 10's!)!  She was flawless on both of her runs, winning great praise from the judges!  Way to go Maddy Mae!!!  Maddy will continue forward in her field training.  I am so very proud and honored to be her breeder/owner/handler.  She really is truly amazing to me!  Introducing...

Maddy is Lexi's third child to achieve a Senior Hunter title, with Viktor (Lexi-Danny) well on his way, and Remy (Lexi-Bud) on his way in Master with his first leg!  Lexi and I are very thankful, and proud, to have such wonderful owners of her puppies!  These owners give her puppies the opportunity to achieve wonderful things with the genes they were given!  Thank you all!

ALSO,

Luna (Maddy-Ruger) did mama Maddy proud by qualifying with her newbie owner/handler/mom for her 3rd leg of her Junior Hunter title!  Not to be outdone, Luna had three 9's and a 10!  The judges were very complimentary of their performance!  Way to go Anna and Luna!!!  One more - good luck next weekend!!!!

Amy was able to travel to Tucson with Gunnar (Maddy-Ruger) to be the lone representative for Dynata this year!  They did a fantastic job and placed 2nd in Sweepstakes, and 4th in the regular classes.  CONGRATULATIONS Amy!! (pictures coming from show photographer)

MADDY DOES IT AGAIN!!  Maddy earns her second leg towards her Senior Hunter Title with incredible scores - AGAIN:  10-9-9-9-10-10!!  She was the only dog to qualify in Senior today - a VERY impressive run.  I am one proud mom!!!  WAY TO GO MADDY!!

Katie (Maddy-Ruger) went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Old Dominion Kennel Club show for another point!!  Even though Katie was not very focused, she pulled it off.  Go Katie-Kate!!! 

Honorable mention:  Anna and Luna (Maddy-Ruger) went Reserve Winners Bitch on Saturday which is a first for the new owner-handler!  Great job Anna - Luna looked beautiful!!

Maddy went Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday placing over the #1 ranked vizsla in the country!  Maddy was "on" and looked beautiful!!!

Romulus, NY

Syd qualified for her last leg of her Companion Dog Obedience Title!!  Sydney is now eligible for her Versatility Certificate (VC) from the Vizsla Club of America.  This certificate is awarded to dogs that achieve a CH, SH (or better) and a CD (or better).  Syd is Lexi's first child to achieve this wonderful honor.  Syd also went Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday!!

 

CONGRATULATIONS on ALL fronts Shona and Syd!!!  What a FANTASTIC weekend!!!  Syd IS a versatile vizsla to be sure!!!
 

Seneca, MD

MADDY KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK at McKee-Beshers WMA at the Mason Dixon GSP Club Hunt Test.  Maddy earns her FIRST leg of her Senior Hunter Title with scores of 10-10-9.5-10-9-9!!!   The judges clapped for her when she finished her brace.  She was one of 17 dogs competing in Senior and 1 of 3 to qualify, and had the top score of the day.  The judges said she was the best dog they have seen run in a long time and that she was a joy to watch.  My pride cannot be put into words.  Maddy-Mae was AWESOME to handle!

Daughter Katie says "not so fast mommy!"  She ran at her first hunt test and is 2 for 2 towards her Junior Hunter Title.  Katie did a very nice job at her first test!!  New horses to see, other dogs to run with, a new experience!  She handled it all well and now is half way towards her title!  GO KATIE-KATE!!!
