This breeding is a reapeat breeding and should produce incredible athletes. Gigi is an amazing athlete. Very strong and determined, she doesn’t quit! She is bold and independent, but is biddable and will take direction. She has an incredible nose and prey drive! As a puppy, she was like her mother – all business.
She has matured nicely as a gun dog. She is now green broke. She still has a little work to do to be completely broke (her strong prey drive can short circuit every now and then!), motherhood will hopefully give her a rest from training so she can return with a fresh mind and steadiness!
In the house, Gigi is all snuggles. The windows and sliding glass doors provide a lot of entertainment for the plethora of wildlife that goes by!
Fen is also an outstanding athlete. He has intensity and focus which has helped him mature into a very nice gun dog. Fen’s family originally wanted a household companion, running buddy and bird hunting partner. Given his natural ability, it was an easy transition to open the door to explore field trialing with Fen. He has 12 AKC gun dog placements, with a major win, and 7 points towards his Field Champion title. With only 3 more points to go there is no question Fen will have more successes to report in the future!
When not training, hunting and competing in field trials Fen is an ever ready, happy and enthusiastic partner in his family’s next adventure.
