March 23, 2023 – Pregnancy confirmed!! Gigi has many puppies in there via ultrasound!
This breeding is a repeat breeding and should produce incredible athletes. Nationally competitive bird dogs, hunting companions, family companions, or whatever they are asked to do, this litter will be ready to go! With lots of drive and desire to please or snuggling on the couch/bed, we can’t wait for them to arrive!!
Gigi and Fenway have proven to produce lovable, fun, athletic, family dogs. On the National stage, Oakley placed 4th along with sister Rae who earned an Award of Merit at the National Field Championship Open Puppy Stake in November of 2022. If that wasn’t enough, Oakley bettered her placement in the 2023 National Gun Dog Open Puppy by being awarded a 3rd place on grounds she has never run on before! Oakley has her Open Puppy points and Rae is maturing into a gun dog already! They have bright futures ahead!!

Gigi is an amazing athlete. Very strong and determined, she doesn’t quit! She is bold and independent. She has an incredible nose and prey drive! As a puppy, she was like her mother – all business.
She has matured nicely as a gun dog. She is now green broke. She has run as a gun dog but still has a little work to do to be completely broke (her strong prey drive can short circuit every now and then!), but we continue on with training to allow her to do her favorite thing… run and find birds!!
In the house, Gigi is all snuggles. The windows and sliding glass doors provide a lot of entertainment for the plethora of wildlife that goes by!
Fen is also an outstanding athlete. He has intensity and focus which has helped him mature into a very nice gun dog. Fen’s family originally wanted a household companion, running buddy and bird hunting partner. Given his natural ability, it was an easy transition to open the door to explore field trialing with Fen.
Fen has come a long way in competition!! He has earned both his Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship not to mention he won the VCA National Amateur Field Championship in 2022!! His natural ability and his companionship with Shawn is incredible!
When not training, hunting and competing in field trials Fen is an ever ready, happy and enthusiastic partner in his family’s next adventure.
