I have been breeding vizslas for over 30 years. I got started in the love of bird dogs early in life. My grandfather had english setters and would take us hunting with him during the holiday season. My father was in the Navy and we moved often. The realization came to me at around 16, when we quail hunted without bird dogs, that my love for the bird dog sport was about quality time with friends and family and about the dogs. I got my first bird dog in the 1980’s and went to my first trial in 1989. I have been hooked ever since. Field trials are about great dogs and meeting great people. I have been fortunate to have judged a lot of trials – over 30 Championships for AKC and American Field organizations.
My love for bird dogs transfers to my breeding program. I look to breed for the best possible companion while having an intense desire and spark to run and find birds.
